Planted Sub-Processors

Last Updated: April 17, 2026

This page lists the sub-processors that Life of Adventure and Change, LLC ("Planted") uses to operate the Planted service. It is the dated, specific companion to the sub-processor categories described in our Privacy Policy §5 and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice §4.

We give at least 14 days' advance notice on this page before adding a new sub-processor that will process your consumer health data. Routine replacements of sub-processors within an existing category are reflected here with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Browser-Native Speech Recognition (Not a Sub-Processor)

When you use voice input, transcription is performed by your web browser's built-in speech-recognition feature (the Web Speech API, exposed as SpeechRecognition or webkitSpeechRecognition). Planted does not contract with a speech-to-text vendor and does not have a sub-processor relationship for speech-to-text.

Depending on your browser, your audio may be transmitted to a third-party speech-recognition service operated by the browser vendor (for example, Chrome and Microsoft Edge transmit audio to Google's speech-recognition service; Safari typically transcribes on-device). That flow is controlled by your browser vendor under your browser's own terms and privacy policy, not by Planted.
